The Dubai Otology 2020 workshops in Balance, Hearing and Speech Language specialities will be one of the region’s largest multispecialty gathering of Audiologists, Speech Language pathologists and Physiotherapists in the region to beld in Mohammed Bin Rashid Academic Medical Center (MBR-AMC) at Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
This annual meeting provides participants the opportunity to attend 2 days of educational sessions, explore the latest in technology, and network with colleagues from around the world.

Jürgen joined MED-EL in 2007 and started as a Clinical engineer at MED-EL headquarters in Innsbruck as a specialist for EAS (electric acoustic stimulation). After 4 years at headquarters he moved to Australia to build MED-EL Australasia and lead the clinical team in his role as Clinical Manager. In 2014 Jürgen started his new position as Clinical Manager for the Middle East. He is committed to improve the quality of the clinical support and to provide the best possible outcome for all MED-EL CI recipients in the area. In his role as Manager of Clinical Audiology and Education for the Middle East he is presenting at different national and international conferences as well as conducting and providing various expert training related to Cochlear Implants. ![]() Mr. Marawan Moustafa, M.Sc. | EgyptClinical Specialist for Education & Training, Middle East MED-EL Medical Electronics, Cairo, EgyptEgypt Marawan got his B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University in 2013. Afterwards, he started his masters studies on the electrical filed ditribution around the Cochlear Implant electrode array and got his M.Sc. degree in 2016. While he was doing his M.Sc. studies he was working at AMICO, the agent of MED-EL in Egypt. Marawan joined MED-EL in 2017 as a Product Specialist & Technical Support engineer. After 1 year he starded a new position as a Clinical Specialist for Education and Training supporting the Middle East. Currently, Marawan is presenting MED-EL at several conferences and workshops in the area. He is looking forward to developing the area aiming at achieving better quality outcomes and providing MED-EL customers with the optimum support. |

She has over 40 peer review articles in various Audiological, hearing research and neuroscience related journals, three chapters and over 70 invited talks in the fields of evoked potentials and auditory processing. In addition, she has received over 20 grants over the years from external and internal university funding agencies. |
