In 2008, he completed a fellowship at Gruppo Otologico in Piacenza, Italy, under the supervision of Prof. Mario Sanna. Dr. AL LAWATI's main interest lies in Otology, specifically cochlear implantation. He serves as a member of various medical associations and boards, including the Oman Medical Association, Pan ARAB Federation of Otorhinolaryngology H&N Societies, and the GCC Cooperation Council ORL Head & Neck Society. Additionally, he is the Vice President of the Arab Academy of Otology and Cochlear Implantation. Dr. AL LAWATI has organized numerous cadaver dissection courses in Oman as the director of a well-equipped Surgical Skills Lab, which has been accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of the UK. He is also a former President of the Oman ORL Head & Neck Surgery and Communication Disorder Association. Dr. Isra Aljazeeri held the position of a member of the International Federation of Otolaryngology Societies' Conference Scientific Committee. She is the supervisor of the Saudi Oto-rhino-laryngology Society's website. And she is the program director for the Saudi Council of Health Specialist residency program in Ahsa region. She obtained her fellowship in Otology, Neurotology, and Cochlear Implant Surgery from King Saud University in 2021. After which, she established the cochlear implant center in Ahsa region and is running it till todate. In 2019, she earned her Saudi Board Certificate in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Aljazeeri completed her Baccalaureate of Medicine from King Faisal University in 2013. Notable accolades include winning the Best Research Award at the Emirates Otolaryngology and Audiology Conference (EROC 2020). She also achieved the valedictorian status in all years during her medical studies at KFU, College of Medicine. In 2007, she received the 7th Honor in Saudi Kingdom among high-school graduates.
