Amy is the founder of Hypatia Specialist Clinics and Hypatia Training which aims to help improve Vestibular care by providing innovative clinics and training for clinicians worldwide. She mentors and assists clinicians from a number of services both NHS and private, CHIME Social Enterprise, Arrowe Park NHS Hospital, Dizzy and Vertigo Institute of Los Angeles. Although an independent business owner her opinion on equipment and devices is often sought from technology manufacturers and she often makes recommendations that make it to final production. She is currently researching Visual Vertigo and has been providing patients with new techniques to help relieve these symptoms and is involved in a number of multi-centre research projects. After completing a Bachelors in Audiology at the University of Manchester in 2009, Amy worked in the NHS until in 2011 she had the opportunity to emigrate to Australia. Here she completed her Master's equivalence and became Head of Service in Queensland looking after both patients in the public and private sector. In 2012 she joined Otometrics as Clinical Lead for Australia she worked on research and development projects for the ICS Impulse and produced the interpretation guide for Head Impulse. Alongside working for Otometrics she developed the “Vestibular Forum” an online community for multidisciplinary clinicians and regularly hosted vestibular and electrophysiology lectures at La Trobe and Flinders University. Amy lives at home with her husband and 7 year old son and enjoys family activities and adventures at the weekend

Dr Vishal Pawar is a Specialist Neurologist with ten years of combined experience in Neurology and Neurotology. He did his MBBS, DNB Medicine and DNB Neurology from India. After 4 years initial practice in India, he is currently working with Aster specialty clinic, Dubai, UAE from the last 6 years. He was awarded Specialty certificate examination in Neurology by Royal college of physicians, UK in May 2017. He has completed the International vestibular diploma twice in the 2021 and 2022. He is awarded the ‘Fellow of European Board of Neurology’ in July 2021. His areas of interest in Neurology are Neurotology and Headache disorders. He runs a dedicated Vertigo clinic at Aster specialty clinic, Discovery Gardens, Dubai. He is actively involved in Care, academics and research in the field of Neurotology from last ten years. He has presented abstracts and posters in various national and international conferences. He has published 6 articles in journals. He has conducted several learning activities on Vertigo in Dubai in the past six years. He is invited as a faculty at several national and international forums to talk on vestibular disorders.

Samer Mohsen is an ENT physician with a Ph.D. degree in Audiology. Now, he is a researcher, lecturer, and clinician in the field of both audiology and otolaryngology. he has many published research on tinnitus, hearing assessment, and CAPD. Mohsen established the Audiology Bachelor degree program at Damascus University in 2019 and since that he is serving as the head of the audiology department and vice-dean of the faculty of health sciences there.

He followed his higher surgical training by doing a clinical neurotology fellowship program in Toronto University in Canada. Dr Alamadi is currently a consultant Otologist and Neurotologist and medical director at Al Baraha hospital in Dubai he is also a clinical Associate Professor at Sharjah University. His expertise lies in Otological surgeries and management of dizzy patients.

Professor of Otology & Neurotology
Jaydip Ray completed his specialist training in Birmingham and undertook his PhD thesis on the Surgical, Electrophysiological and Audiological aspects of Cochlear Implantation. He also undertook fellowship training in Cambridge; Sydney University, Australia; House Ear Institute, LA and Stanford University, USA. He joined Sheffield Teaching Hospitals as Consultant Otologist Neurotologist and Hon. Senior Clinical Lecturer in 2006. He was appointed Professor of Otology by Sheffield Hallam University in 2013 and Professor of Otology Neurotology by University of Sheffield in 2016. He is the Clinical Director for ENT and Hearing Services. His main research interests include Management of Complex Hearing Loss and Implantable Hearing Solutions. He has been investigating the links between hearing loss and dementia. Secondary research interest includes management of Balance Disorders in the elderly. He has an active role in teaching and training and lectures widely on several national and international courses and conferences.

He has also successfully completed a fellowship course in functional endoscopic sinus surgery at MCV Trust ENT Hospital, Coimbatore, India. Dr. Mark Bassim, MD, FACS, is an Otologist and Neurotologist at the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. He specializes in all diseases of the ear and lateral skull base, and treats patients with hearing loss, dizziness, vertigo, tinnitus, and skull base tumors. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Bassim spent 11 years as an Associate Professor of Otology, Residency Program Director, and the founding director of the Balance Center at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. Most recently, he was the director of The Ear Institute at Clemenceau Medical Center in Beirut. Dr. Bassim has published many papers in the field of otology and is a reviewer for several international journals. He also is a regular lecturer in multiple international ear courses. During his free time, Dr. Bassim enjoys spending time with his children and outdoor activities.
